My journey as a muralist began in an unconventional manner. At the age of 22, during the Covid-19 pandemic, I volunteered to paint a mural outside of a retirement community in my college town. Nobody told me the wall extended over the length of a football field. Despite its gargantuan size and my utter lack of experience the goal was to uplift the residents during a isolating period, and I had no intention of backing down from that goal. After dedicating more than 200 hours and raising over $3,000, I completed my first mural. Since then, I have continued to pursue murals with the same goal in mind, uplifting those around me.
